Lincoln Brewster Releases "A Mostly Acoustic Christmas"
Integrity Music's Lincoln Brewster releases his new album, A Mostly Acoustic Christmas, today in time for the holiday season. This marks his second Christmas project and is a fun passion project that he recorded and self-produced at home with family and friends and the help of his two dogs. "No programming, editing, copying and pasting, just real music," shares Lincoln Brewster. "Zoro, Norm Stockton, Roman V, Alex Chaney joined me as special guests - I even got my mandolin out and dusted it off!"
A Mostly Acoustic Christmas includes holiday classics like "Jingle Bells," "The Christmas Song," "O Come All Ye Faithful," and even a re-imagined version of "Linus & Lucy" from A Charlie Brown Christmas. The sounds of this album cover blues, jazz, and of course some classic Brewster shredding as played out in a re-visited version of "Miraculum."
ABOUT LINCOLN BREWSTER: Despite a tumultuous childhood, Lincoln Brewster's talents grew and by the time he had entered his mid-teens, he worked to perfect his craft, recording a demo that caught the attention of music industry insider and former "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson. That led to an invitation for Brewster, then age 19, to tour with legendary rocker Steve Perry. But Brewster, who had accepted Christ before beginning work with Perry, eventually walked away from touring and label offers to take a job at his local church. That change in trajectory would lead to ministry opportunities he could never have imagined, including a recording career with Integrity Music and his current role as a senior pastor at Bayside Church near Sacramento, CA. Years after leaving behind his rock star dreams, this husband and father once again finds himself sharing music with capacity crowds at concerts and festivals, this time leading them in worship with songs like "There Is Power," "Made New," "Today Is The Day," "Let The Praises Ring," "Love The Lord," "God You Reign," "No One Like Our God" and "While I Wait." |
