Josh Townsend Joins Legacy Five

Legacy Five has announced the addition of 19-year-old pianist JOSH TOWNSEND. JT is from Dallas, Texas and is a brilliant piano player. Some of you may recognize JT from his time with The Old Paths or the Lefevre Quartet. Scott Fowler said, "It's always an adventure when looking for a new member. God has always taken care of us and he has done so, yet again." In his typical humorous fashion, charter Legacy Five member Scott Howard commented that, "we have never had a teen-ager in the group. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a car seat that is fitted for a bus!"
JT was a bit more serious when asked how he feels about having this opportunity. "I have experienced many challenges in my relatively short life. God has always cared for me and given me everything I need. Now He has REALLY smiled on me and given me something that I really WANTED. I am so happy to be with Legacy Five and I am excited to get to team up with them. I'd like to thank Scott Fowler for believing in me and taking a risk on a "kid." I was only a year old when Legacy Five formed ... so I have literally grown up with them. This really is a humbling experience for me."
Watch the video below to learn more about JT's "story" and welcome him to L5 when you see them in concert.
