Dustin Smith Releases New Single 'Extravagant Love" from Integrity Music
Dustin Smith, the Kansas City, Missouri-based songwriter and worship leader, released the deluxe single "Extravagant Love" from Integrity Music on April 29. The deluxe single, which will be available through iTunes and Amazon, features the MP3 of "Extravagant Love" along with a lyrics video, companion song study devotional penned by Smith and a bonus track, the radio edit of Smith's song "Rushing Waters."
"Extravagant Love" was written by Smith along with Michael Farren and Jack Mooring of Leeland. The song will be one of the new tracks featured on Smith's upcoming album scheduled for a September release. Smith will record the album live at World Revival Church in Kansas City on May 17. (See http://dustinsmith.com for additional details.)
Smith will be touring internationally in Poland and Amsterdam April 30-May 8 before returning to the U.S. where he will teach and lead worship at the AllAboutWorship Conference in Leawood, KS.
In addition to his own recordings, Smith's songs have been featured by a variety of artists including Michael W. Smith who recently recorded Smith's "The One That Really Matters" and "You Are The Fire" on his new album Sovereign (available May 13).
Smith grew up the son and grandson of pastors and has been involved in fulltime ministry for 17 years, including the past nine years serving as a worship leader at World Revival Church. Inspired by his church, his pastor and his own personal journey in Christ, Smith has written and co-written worship songs that range in theme from adoration and surrender to spiritual warfare. These songs include "Rushing Waters," "Yahweh" and "Reign Over Me." His previous albums include Rushing Waters (Integrity) and the independent releases Everything Inside Me and Open The Floodgates. In addition, Smith has authored teaching materials that cover a variety of ministry and Christian living topics such as "Are You God Conscious?" and "Function Before Title."
