Aerosmith & Slash 'Let Rock Rule' Tour Summer 2014, See Full Dates Here
Classic rockers across North America have reason to be excited. Two of the legends, Aerosmith and Slash (of Guns N' Roses) have officially announced they will be touring together this Summer. The tour is currently headed for 21 cities kicking off on July 10th in Wantagh, NY and winding up in Sydney, Canada on September 12th.
Aerosmith bandmates Steven Tyler (vocals) and Joe Perry (lead guitar) shared the news while on a recent taping of the day-time talk show "Ellen". Tyler revealed that the history between the two camps goes back further than you'd imagine - in fact, a drawing of Aerosmith made by a young Slash can be found on the inside of the group's most recent album.
Joe Perry sent out a few texts to his fans saying, ''A couple of days ago I tweeted that we were going out on the road this summer with Slash and now it's absolutely official, tickets will be going on sale real soon."
''The name of the tour is Let Rock Rule and you're going to be hearing a little more of that coming up real soon, see you then.''
"It's official! We're going out on the road this summer with Slash! #LetRockRule"
You can pick up tickets for the "Let Rock Rule" Tour when they go on sale this weekend via Live Nation.
