Joey Feek of Joey + Rory Receives Her Best Christmas Gift

Joey Feek, one half of country music's duo Joey + Rory, got the perfect gift she wanted this holiday season. She got to spend one more Christmas with her daughter Indiana. Indiana, the couple's daughter, will be turning two in February. February will also be the month the Feeks are releasing their brand new hymns album entitled Hymns that Are Important to Us.
The country singer's husband, Rory Feek, has been updating fans about his wife's condition. Last Friday, he shared a picture of how friends and family came to the hospice where Joey was staying to bring her the Christmas cheer (see picture above). The picture also shows Joey smiling ear-to-ear as she's seated with her loved ones around her.
"Celebrating Christmas with Joey, surrounded by family," he wrote on the pair's Facebook page. "The best gift of all. Thank you Lord."
Joey is suffering from Stage IV cervical cancer. After a round of chemo and radiation, the cancer has spread. Instead of seeking more treatments, Joey has decided to come home. Now, she's too sick to be on her own, soshe's currently under the care of a hospice. Earlier in the week, Santa showed up to help spread some cheer in the Feek home.
"The Kris Kringle that showed up at our door wasn't your ordinary shopping-mall Santa. This one was the real deal," Rory wrote on his blog, This Life I Live. "Or as close to it as I've ever personally seen."
Santa spent time with Joey as well as the couple's 21-month-old daughter, Indiana.
"He said he knew our music (I had no idea Santa was a country music fan) and was a little nervous about coming to see us -- not knowing what to expect -- or if Joey would be up for their visit," Rory continued. "I think once he saw my bride sitting on the couch and smiling when he came in, and enjoying the evening... he settled in and hopefully had as good a time as we did."
