'The Amazing Spider Man 3': Third Installment New Character Speculations
After the success of "The Amazing Spiderman 2", the film grossed an estimated total of $708 million worldwide, combining both estimated domestic gross of $202 million and $506 million from other countries. At present, Marvel and Sony are combining their concepts for the film's next installment, "The Amazing Spiderman 3", which will be released in 2018.
"The Amazing Spiderman" is an American superhero film, which follows Marvel Comic character Spiderman. The second installment of the film featured a visually notable epic battle of Spiderman with Electro and Green Goblin, leading to the ill-fated death of his love, Gwen Stacy. "The Amazing Spiderman 3" is going to be the sequel and the third installment for the action adventure film franchise.
"The Amazing Spiderman 3" will star Andrew Garfield as the main hero Spiderman behind Peter Parker. Dane DeHaan will also reprise his role as Harry Osborn, also known as the Green Goblin. However, there are rumors about the cast in the third installment, according to Screenrant. Chris Cooper may play Norman Osborn and Green Goblin, then Dane DeHaan as Venom. Shailene Woodley is said to play Mary Jane.
Speculations are revealed in Movie Pilot regarding two possibilities in Spiderman's future. One is Gwen Stacy's return in the succeeding films and the second is Spiderman joining the Avengers. The website reveals that Gwen has a professor at the Empire State University who happens to fall in love with her. Calling himself as The Jackal, he clones Gwen Stacey to return her into Peter Parker's life. Moreover, Spiderman's participation in the Civil War is implausible to happen.
According to Movie Pilot, Venom Carnage and the Sinister Six, consisting of Mysterio, New/ Green Goblin, the Rhino, the Vulture, Kraven the Hunter, and Doctor Octopus, will also be coming in the forthcoming movies in Sony's Spider Man Cinematic Universe. Andrew Garfield gave a hint in a statement in Kdramastars regarding Miles Morales, also known as The Ultimate Spider-Man, appearing in the movie. "I have given that though.
I think one of the amazing things about Spider-Man is that you don't see skin color when he's in the suit. You don't see any religious beliefs. You don't see any denomonations," Garfield said. "Everyone can project themselves into that suit. It's incredibly powerful that way. So of course I think it's important that the openness, the casting, in terms of who could be Spider-Man, could be absolutely anyone. A hero is a hero, whether you're a man, woman, gay, lesbian, straight, black, white or red all over - it doesn't matter," he added.
The third installment is set to be piloted by Marc Webb, who also directed "The Amazing Spiderman 2". The director will be working together with Steve Ditko, Alex Kurtzman, Stan Lee, and Jeff Pinker as writers. Stan Lee and Avi Arad will be contributing as the film's producers.
Sony made an announcement last June 17, 2013 that the third installment of the film will be released on June 10, 2016. Last July, however, Sony announced a change that "The Amazing Spiderman 3" will be moved in 2018.
