'Modern Family' Season 6 Episode 3 Recap: The Cold Plague That Hit Every Member of the Family

"Modern Family" Season 6 Episode 3 Recap: The Cold Plague That Hit Every Member of the Family
Every member of the family caught "The Cold" which interferes with their daily life. Carrie blows up her client meeting and Mitch got into trouble because Lily's smarter and more talented friend. Meanwhile, Phil got a good look of the wedding video only to realize that he was patient zero.
The third episode of "Modern Family" was about "The Cold" plague that hit every member of the family. Mitch thought that he was the person to blame since he remembers experiencing chills back in Mexico because of his wet socks.
Despite being sickly, Claire still pushed through with her client meeting because she does not want to disappoint anybody especially her dad. On her way, she got struck by vertigo and collapsed.
Meanwhile, Mitch got a new playmate for Lily, hoping this new friend will last longer than the others. Little Lily easily gets bored with her previous playmates because she was smarter, not on this one. Nobody expected that the new kid was a genius who remembers everything due to her photographic memory. Mitch got irritated and called the girl Ms. Know-It-All, which made her cry.
Phil volunteered to edit the Mitch and Cam's wedding video, and while examining the footages he just realized that he was patient zero. He should be getting all the anger, not Mitch. Apparently, he sneezed on everything, Mitch's champagne glass and napkin. To save his own ass, he tried to hide the truth using his poor editing skills. However, the final output was a total disaster.
After dinner, everyone insisted to view the wedding video that Phil compiled. Phil was shaking on the inside. Surprisingly, no one noticed that he was the culprit because all of them are too busy criticizing their own flaws. As such, Phil was able to suggest that the video be revised so that the flaws of others can be hidden.
For the next episode, Christian Post shared the official plot, titled "Marco Polo".
"The Dunphys move into a cramped hotel room while their house is getting treated for mold, and Phil sees this as an opportunity to spend some quality time together, but Claire and the kids are less than enthused. Gloria becomes over protective when Manny starts dating an older, popular girl and Cameron is under a lot of pressure to maintain his team's winning streak. But when he realized Mitchell may be a jinx, emotions run high."
That's one heck of a plot. We will be waiting for more laughing session with "Modern Family." Catch the airing of their episodes every Wednesday at 9 pm ET on ABC.
