NCIS: New Orleans Season 1 Episode 5 Spoilers and Preview: FBI's Fornell Lends A Hand To Pride In Murder With Kidnap-For-Ransom Case
NCIS: New Orleans Season 1 episode 5 which airs Tuesday, October 21, at the 9 PM time slot on the CBS network is entitled "It Happened Last Night." Written by Jack Bernstein and directed by Arvin Brown, it will have Washington-based FBI Senior Special Agent Tobias C. Fornell (played by guest star Joe Spano) going to New Orleans to help NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) and his team in a kidnap-for-ransom case. In the episode, an investigation into the apparent murder of a Chief Warrant Officer who specialized in counterintelligence will reveal that his wife has also been kidnapped and is being held for ransom. Pride and the local authorities will find themselves being given a 22-hour deadline by the kidnappers to produce what is being demanded by the kidnappers. Fornell is dispatched to assist in negotiating and dealing with the kidnappers.
NCIS: New Orleans also stars Lucas Black as NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, Zoe McLellan as Special Agent Meredith "Merri" Brody, CCH Pounder as Medical Examiner of Orleans Parish Dr. Loretta Wade, and Rob Kerkovich as forensic scientist Sebastian Lund. Aside from Joe Spano, Rocky Carroll will also be guest starring as NCIS Director Leon Vance for the "It Happened Last Night" episode.
