Many would hesitate to take some time off because they are afraid that their workload will just pile up. It is usually assumed that when one is in vacation, he or she is no longer capable of working. But there is actually no need to haul that bulky work machine to the plane or the beach. There are two incredibly powerful machines available on the market today that are purposely built for handy productivity. These are the "Apple MacBook Air" and the "Microsoft Surface Pro 3".
Both the most recent "Apple MacBook Air" and "Surface Pro 3" are really superior devices. Both are unbelievably thin and flawlessly designed. Those who are devoted to "Apple" products and enthusiasts of the "OS X" will flock to the "MacBook Air," while Windows power users certainly desire the "Surface Pro 3".
Comparing the two operating systems is impossible not to do, as the two are great machines from great companies. It is great to make a decision according to the device's qualities as a portable machine for doing some serious tasks and not just as a pure notebook. In this case "MacBook Air" wins.
Both devices come in different configurations. The "MacBook Air" comes in two sizes, 13.3-and 11.6- inches. The "Surface Pro 3" will be paired with its new "Surface Pro Type Cover". This is sold separately from the tablet, costing you an additional of $130.
The Microsoft "Surface Pro 3" is considered by many as the better piece of hardware and it is more flexible and has better display. It has greater build-quality and many individuals will choose it due to its active pen support. Even those who are not gadget fanatic will like this because of its usability for taking notes, sketches and charts.
On the other hand, the Apple "MacBook Air" is cheaper and provides more value for your money. The "MacBook Air" gives greater option in terms of trackpad, port selection and keyboard.
If you want to decide in the aspect of versatility, pick the Microsoft "Surface Pro 3". But if you want to go for affordability, then select the Apple "MacBook Air".
