Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 3 Spoilers and Preview: Meredith Grey Driving Wedge In Alex and Jo's Romance; Owen Hunt Complicating Callie and Arizona's Marriage
Grey's Anatomy Season 11 episode 3 which airs Thursday, October 9, at the 8 PM time slot on ABC is entitled "Got to be Real." Written by Zoanne Clack and directed by Rob Corn, the show will have Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) introducing Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) to the Veterans Hospital patients in hopes that she will help them with her robotic limb lab. Previously, Callie and her partner Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) have argued about where they would want to take their marriage. Callie wants to adopt a baby while Arizona wants to further specialize as a surgeon. Eventually, they agreed to do both. But if Owen succeed in convincing Callie to help out with the veterans, it could mean that both she and Arizona will have to be taking on more work than they had originally planned.
Meanwhile, Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) will become jealous of Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and Meredith Grey's (Ellen Pompeo) friendship. According to Wet Paint, which got to get a sneak peek at Grey's Anatomy's upcoming episode, Meredith "bypasses the boundaries of [Alex's] personal space even more...[as she] barges in to the bathroom, venting to Alex about how Maggie (Kelly McCreary) says she's her sister." Meredith even peers down at his man parts and tells Alex, "OK, fine. Your junk is spectacular. Jo is a very lucky girl. Can we get back to me now? Why are you making that face?" To which, the poor Alex can only reply, "Mer, I realize that I said I would take over as your person. Maybe that means I have to buy your tampons and act like your husband's hair is special and crap, but I have a very important presentation to give to the board today. To get a job - which I need because I got fired by Dr. Butthole. I have been practicing all night. I am sleep deprived. I need to shower - alone - and focus!" Alex loss his job during episode 2 because of something which Jo did. Related to Meredith's concern, Maggie will continue to confide in Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.).
Grey's Anatomy Season 11 regular cast also have Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery, Sarah Drew as April Kepner, Jerrika Hinton as Stephanie Edwards and Caterina Scorsone as Amelia Shepherd. Aside from McKreary, episode 3 will have Geena Davis as guest star.
