The Walking Dead Spinoff Show, News, Casting And Spoilers: The Walking Dead Companion Will Uphold The Character Focused Tradition And Will Highly Comprise Of Two Families And Another 'Andrea'
We have the latest for you on the news, casting and spoilers of The Walking Dead spinoff show. 'The Walking Dead' spin-off series has been quite a mystery since the very announcement, but apart from a time and location for the new chapter of Robert Kirkman's zombie character, it could be time that we finally knew the main cast.
According to TV Line, the main cast of 'The Walking Dead' spinoff will highly comprise two families and another 'Andrea' (eye-roll) and probably it is set at least some time before the world goes to hell with the undead roaming the earth. The fans should keep in mind that the names of the characters are subject to change at any time. The cast of the upcoming 'The Walking Dead' spin-off include Sean Cabrera who is a Latino male in his early 40s and he is a good man. Another character is Cody Cabrera Sean's whip-smart and a rebellious teenager. He is known as the angriest kid in the town. Nancy Tompkins is a single mum in her 30s but she looks quite young. Nick Tompkins is Nancy's screwed-up son and he is too old to be staying home but he is scared to flee. Ashley Tompkins is Nancy's daughter who loves her mum and she has ambitions which are in direct proportion to those of her brother. The other character is Andrea Chapman who is forty-something years old and has retreated to the outskirts of the city to recover after a horrible marriage.
Although 'The Walking Dead' can be considered a dramatic horror series as it existed in a world filled with zombies, the show mostly leans on its dramatic elements. It seems like the Walking Dead companion will uphold the character focused tradition and this is by putting familial drama at the fore front of the series. Although some aspects of the description for, the Walking Dead companion may fall into the realm of tired television tropes whether or not the finished product does will depend on the show's development of these characters. We won't know more until actors and actresses are cast for the roles and more information about the project is released.
The fifth season of The Walking Dead premieres on Sunday 12th October at 9p.m. on AMC.
