Android 5.0 L Release Date, Features, Rumors And Updates: Android 5 Will Offer Completely Redesigned Interface, Improved Battery Life, More Fluid Animations And Compatibility With 64-Bit Processors
We have the latest for you on the release date, features, rumors, reports and latest updates of Android 5.0 L. A new version of Android has been running for quite some time on testing phase and there is a brand new version which might be coming very soon for public use. Android 5 will be a great improvement and is said to be the best Android version to come. It comes with many improvements for example it comes with a completely redesigned interface, a renewed focus on improving the battery life, more fluid animations and for the first time ever, it will be compatible with the 64-bit processors.
The soon-to-be released Android L will be up against the iOS 8 from Apple. The iOS 8 together with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be a major boost to the Apple Company. Google is not planning to waste time when it comes to the Android L and it might be released this Autumn. A release of a new version of Android is always good news to the Android fans but it is never a good experience to have a new version released and still remain stuck in the old version of Android just because your phone manufacturer does not plan on releasing an update. However, this is not the case to HTC and Motorola as after 90 days, HTC One M8 and the original HTC One M7 will receive an update. Motorola also confirmed that the new Moto G and Moto X will certainly receive an update of the Android L. As early as November; Android L might be coming to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Samsung however, has not given any word about the update.
As for the release date, Google is not ready to give an official date, but we are waiting for a Nexus flagship to come up as their releases could coincide. Reportedly, the Android L has more that 5000 new APIs ticking away behind the scenes. The material design scheme is set to appear on every Google platform and not just Android. The new Android L will look best on phones and tablets. However, the Android L is not just about looks. For the features, the Android L will feature a new personalized unlocking mode. Google will also be updating its stock Android keyboard adding more personalized keys. The Android L will come with improved performance and visual changes also. The direct 11-level graphics will finally make its way to Android in the new Android L. More changes will include improved battery life for the new Android version.
