The Blacklist Season 2 Premiere, Spoilers, Trailer, Episode 1 Preview, Cast And Sneak Peek News: Red Assigns A Secret Bodyguard To Liz And We Could Get To Learn The Identity Of Liz's Father
We have the latest for you on the premiere, spoilers, trailer, episode 1 preview, cast and sneak peek news of The Blacklist season 2. NBC's The Blacklist, a crime investigation drama is set to return on screen for a second season on September 22nd. Last season was a total success with a plot full of twists and the suspense keeping fans on the edge of their seats. James Spader who plays as Raymond Redinton (Red) and Megan Boone who takes the role of Agent Elizabeth Keen(Liz) took us on an adventure across Washington DC as they caught up with crime bosses even the FBI hadn't a clue existed. Season one ended in a lot of suspense giving a hint to expect much more when season two premieres.
Will there be a father daughter reconnection? This is the question on fans minds as season one ended with Red scared hinting that in this new season we might get to learn the identity of Liz's father who we suspect to be Red. The writers are not keen to reveal anything definitive which is building up the suspense even more.
With Agent keen's safety as Red's main concern, he will assign a bodyguard for her to protect her from "Berlin" the mysterious mercenary who is at logger heads with Red for reasons not yet known to even Red. Spoiler alert, the bodyguard assigned to Agent keen is kept a secret to even her she only finds out she has a body guard later in the season.
In other news Mozhan Marno who takes the role of Tamar Katzman will join the cast of the Blacklist as an agent in the taskforce but in actual sense she has been employed by (Red) to shadow Agent keen which is a move by Red to keep Keen in check and make it hard for her to go behind his back again. After a very successful season it will be interesting to see if the new season, The Blacklist season 2 portrays the same flare as its latter.
The first episode will be entitled 'Lord Baltimore' and will just be another typical threat on Red's life. Berlin will make some appearance in the season as well mostly to scare Red.
The trailer of the Blacklist season 2 has been released and the premiere date is set for September 22nd on NBC.
