It has been hinted that Elizabeth Mitchell will be joining the "Once Upon a Time" cast for season 4. Her role in the series is however not known. Adam Horowitz, the showrunner, is excited about the star appearing in the series. He told TV Line, "She's awesome, we love her, we're so happy to have her and we can't wait for the audience to discover who she is playing."
There are rumors going around that Elizabeth Mitchell would play as a villain as there is no antagonist in the series. In 'Frozen', Elsa is said to be a villain. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether or not her character will be sinister. Meanwhile, the season 4 of Once Upon A Time series will feature the story of the movie 'Frozen'. Spoilers once claim that Queen Elsa will be back to her original state as a villain in the story of the "Snow Queen". The TV series is very well known for twisting the original characters of the fairy tales and turning them into Villains. The show runners have however confirmed that the TV version will follow the Disney Movie.
The first episode of the upcoming series is titled 'A Tale of Two Sisters' and it is most likely that it will feature the two sisters; Elsa and Anna. It is also possible that the episode will show a back story of the two sisters just like it happens in 'Frozen'. There were speculations that the first episode will expand on the reason why the sisters end up in Storybrook and what the other characters plan on doing.
The upcoming season of 'Once Upon a Time' will feature the lovely characters from 'Frozen'. The show's creators and executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz already confirmed that Elsa, Anna and Kristoff will definitely feature in the show's next season. The 4th season is expected to air on 28th September. The trailer is already online giving fans a sneak peek into what to expect in the upcoming season.
