'NCIS' CBS Season 12 Release Date 2014, Spoilers from Ziva David, New Cast Adds 'Revenge' Stephanie Jacobsen
"NCIS" Season 12 is just over a month away from premiering on CBS and another cast addition has been announced.
Stephanie Jacobsen ("Revenge", "Melrose Place") will be joining the cast as a reoccurring role playing FBI Special Agent Leia Pendergast, who is partnered with Agent DiNozzo for a case involving an international terrorist threat targeting Navy researchers. Jacobsen will first appear in an episode in October, so she won't be in the premiere.
The description of her character is, "Armed but feminine, sexy and single, cool and confident. A former U.S. Marshal-turned FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force leader, she is flirtatious and adventurous with a sense of humor. Leia is a straight shooter, brash when she needs to be. She isn't afraid to knock down doors or egos."
"NCIS" Season 12 premieres on CBS on September 23rd at 8/7c on CBS.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Stephanie Jacobsen's character is "partnered with Agent DiNozzo for a case involving an international terrorist." An earlier report on TVLine said DiNozzo will meet his new love "through a case."
Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) is said to be moving on from Ziva David (Cote de Pablo).
"We'll be mature about it and handle it properly, and Michael's excited about it," showrunner Gary Glasberg told TVLine, teasing what happens to Tony, Ziva and someone new in NCIS Season 12.
"Prettly Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario teased a photo on instagram of her and Sean Murray. This left fans wondering if they have a new story coming up on NCIS Season 12.
Emily Wickersham, plays Ellie Bishop as an addition to the NCIS cast as well.
