Dragon Age 3: Inquisition Release Date And Gameplay: Gamescom Confirms That Delay In The Release Date Is As A Result Of Polishing Up
We've got the latest news for you on the release date and gameplay of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. For the gamers who love Dragon Age, we have some details for you from a Gamescom interview. The one month delay in the release date of the game was to simply polish it up, and make it as good as they can.
The game has almost 150 hours of gameplay, all thanks to having a massive game world. The Hinterlands level alone is bigger than the whole playable area in the Dragon Age Originals. More to that, it has a main story mode, as well as other things that Bioware has laid on top of it. The system of crafting is very deep, and as an example, Bioware explained the process of crafting a suit of armor. First you would have to choose your pattern and then choose the metal to be used. You will then decide whether you will use leather or chain, and so on. These changes will not only affect how the armor will look but also the character status, you can craft with that purpose in mind.
The romance options will be more natural and organic as compared to in the previous games. The game will also use a Frostbite engine which is truly a more powerful engine as compared to its predecessors. There is a feeling of weight in the combat which you feel when you swing the axe. A very interesting feature being introduced by Bioware is the cross platform cloud save. You can change from PlayStation 4, Xbox One and your PC, and you can even pick up a game from where you left, as long as you have a copy of the game in all platforms.
In addition, there are some certain areas of the game which will become available due to certain choices that you make throughout your gameplay, which gives you even more reason to play Dragon Age Inquisition more than once.
The Dragon Age Inquisition is coming to Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The release of the game has not yet been confirmed but it is speculated that it will be released before the holiday season.
