Darlene Zschech Celebrates 60th Birthday

Internationally acclaimed worship leader and songwriter Darlene Zschech marked a milestone birthday this week, celebrating her 60th year surrounded by family, friends, and fans around the world. Sharing her gratitude on social media, Zschech wrote:
"THANKYOU everyone. I don't even know what to say except thankyou for all the love, the precious words, and the kindness you have shown me on my 60th birthday. It's a funny age... no longer even middle age, but definitely (I pray) wiser, confident in my skin, very clear about purpose... what a glorious decade to step into. THANKYOU to my precious daughters, who totally have my heart, who make me as proud as a mumma can be... to my g babes who keep me occupied with gladness of heart, and to my @markzschech... there are no adequate words to describe my @love for you. THANKYOU to my precious friends and family, to our wonderful @hopeuc family... let's keep going forward with hearts of love for Jesus and each other, I have a feeling this next decade is going to be glorious."
The celebration comes as Zschech also shares exciting news with her fans: the release of a brand-new duet with 17-time GRAMMY® Award winner CeCe Winans. The collaboration revisits her globally beloved worship anthem Shout To The Lord, recorded live as part of the upcoming House of Worship project. The track showcases Zschech's iconic vocals alongside Winans' soulful power, bringing a fresh energy to the classic worship song for a new generation of listeners.
Born in Brisbane, Australia, on September 8, 1965, Darlene Zschech has left an indelible mark on contemporary Christian music. Best known for penning Shout To The Lord, she served as worship pastor at Hillsong Church for over two decades, shaping worship experiences for congregations worldwide. Alongside her husband Mark, she now continues her ministry at Hope Unlimited Church, inspiring communities with her music, teaching, and leadership.
