Jesse Pruett & CCG Worship Release Soul-Stirring Debut Original Worship Album, "Faithful"

CCG Worship (Calvary Creative Group Worship), the creative arts worship team of Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, named one of the fastest-growing churches in America in the past ten years by Outreach Magazine, has released their debut original worship album, Faithful. 

Faithful is a soul-stirring collection of original songs capturing the beauty of God's grace, forged in the wilderness and wonder of the Arizona desert. With lyrics rooted in Scripture and melodies crafted for personal worship and corporate praise, this album is more than music-it's a testimony. Every song tells a story of life transformed, hearts awakened, and hope restored.

The project is produced by Dove Award-nominated Word/Curb Music Publishing producer and songwriter Sam Hart (Newsong, Bethel Music, Aaron Shust, Big Daddy Weave), with support from Calvary Baptist Church worship arts pastor and CCG Worship director Jesse Pruett.

Pruett a prolific singer, songwriter, actor and producer, has shared the stage and screen with actors and musicians including Robert De Niro, Bruce Willis, Liam Hemsworth, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Sylvester Stallone, Switchfoot, Smash Mouth, Blink 182, Jason Mraz, P.O.D., and more. He has scored two films, and currently has music credits on 30+ film and television projects.

Faithful serves as a testament to the transformative capability of worship and the enduring nature of God's love."This album was born out of a season of significant growth and healing, both in our church and worship team, and it felt like the right moment to share what God has been doing." says Pruett.

The new project invites listeners to experience a deeper connection with their faith through music that resonates with both the personal and communal aspects of the journey of CCG Worship."We sensed God calling us to capture the stories of transformation happening within our church and used music to give them a voice," he continues. "We've seen drug addicts healed, prisoners walking in freedom, marriages restored, and lives completely changed-all because of God's incredible mercy, grace, forgiveness, and love." 

Featuring collaborations with artists including Pruett, Hart, Jerod Farnes, Catie Bouchard, Siarra Jeffery, and Joseph Pfeifer, Faithful is comprised of eight tracks that blend contemporary worship with personal testimonies, reflecting their faith in Jesus.

Multi-Grammy nominated cello and violin duo, Antonio and Allison (Kari Jobe, Bethel Music, and recent performances at The White House), are featured on the album on "I Choose Your Faithfulness," "We Trust," and "Shadow Of Your Wings."

The songs on Faithful have been born from living and worshipping God together in a true community of faith, dedicated to growth and healing. "Our church has seen remarkable growth, especially through our recovery ministry, which has become a cornerstone of life change at Calvary Baptist," Pruett recalls. 

One song that truly captures the CCG Worship journey is "Can I Get an Amen!" Featuring Pruett, Jerod Farnes, and Jamie Morris on lead vocals (including an engaging call-and-response session), the track is a celebration song of joy and hope that speaks to redemption, new beginnings, and the beauty God brings from brokenness.

With its soothing rhythms and harmonious choruses, another track that embodies the CCG Worship journey is "We Trust." Featuring Pruett on lead vocals, as well as Antonio and Allison on cello and violin, the song expresses confidence in God's plan, His guidance, and His provision, with full trust in Jesus in every area of life. 

Additional songs on the album include "Won't Stop Praising," "God of Victory," "Miracle Working God," "Power in the Name of Jesus," "I Choose Your Faithfulness," and "Shadow of Your Wings."

With Pruett and Jerod Farnes sharing lead vocals, the dynamic instrumentation of the up-tempo "Won't Stop Praising" underscores its declaration of continuous praise, emphasizing unwavering devotion. "God of Victory," featuring energetic rhythms and Jerod Farnes's powerful lead vocals, is a celebration of God's victories and strength in life's battles. 

"Miracle Working God," with its melodic harmonies and uplifting crescendos, features Pruett and Joseph Pfeifer on shared lead vocals. Acknowledging God's miraculous deeds, the lyrics speak of changed lives, divine interventions, and faith in God's miracle-working ability. With its strong beats and compelling melodies, "Power in the Name of Jesus" features Pruett on lead vocals. The lyrics emphasize the chain-breaking power inherent in invoking Jesus' name. 

"I Choose Your Faithfulness," a gentle tune with heartfelt lead vocals by Catie Bouchard, speaks of a personal commitment to rely on God's unwavering faithfulness amidst life's uncertainties and trials. The serene "Shadow of Your Wings," featuring Siarra Jeffery's emotive lead vocals, portrays a longing for closeness to God, and finding peace under His protection. 

"Our prayer is that this project will meet people in the middle of their mess, offer hope through the truth of the Gospel, and inspire them to believe that no story is beyond redemption," says Pruett. "We want it to be more than music-we want it to be a mirror of God's grace and a catalyst for life change.
