Brandy and Daughter Sy’Rai Smith Star as Sisters in Lifetime’s New Holiday Film Christmas Everyday

Lifetime announces the upcoming release of Christmas Everyday, a heartwarming new addition to its annual "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" holiday movie slate. The film stars Grammy Award-winning artist and actress Brandy Norwood alongside her real-life daughter Sy'Rai Smith, who makes her acting debut. The dynamic mother-daughter duo portray sisters navigating love, loss, and the magic of Christmas.
In Christmas Everyday, Brandy plays Francine "Fancy" Ballantine, a devoted fashion designer determined to uphold her late father's cherished Christmas traditions. At the same time, she must support her younger sister Belle (played by Sy'Rai Smith), an enthusiastic but demanding bride-to-be whose extravagant wedding plans threaten to spiral out of control. As the family grapples with the challenges of the season-including their mother Evelyn's (Debbi Morgan) battle with vision loss-a burst water pipe puts the wedding in jeopardy. Enter Jaylen (Robert Christopher Riley), a rugged contractor whose help not only saves the day but also sparks an unexpected romance. Adding to the holiday charm is Germaine (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman), Fancy's quirky co-worker, who brings comic relief to the festive chaos.
"The holidays are always about family as part of the festivities, so I'm beyond thrilled to be partnering with Lifetime on this magical holiday project and having my own daughter star with me - even though we are playing sisters!" said Brandy Norwood.
Directed by Roger Bobb and written by Meg DeLoatch and Cameron Ross, Christmas Everyday is produced by Fox Entertainment Studios and distributed by Fox Entertainment Global. Brandy also serves as an executive producer alongside Stella Bulochnikov, Dr. Holly Carter, and Ryan Ramsey.
The film is infused with music from Brandy's acclaimed 2023 holiday album Christmas With Brandy, featuring her song "Christmas Everyday", which serves as the movie's signature theme.
Christmas Everyday premieres as part of Lifetime's beloved holiday lineup during the 2025 holiday season. Exact air date to be announced.
