​Ty Brasel, an independent Christian hip-hop artist, is set to release his latest album, "TYTANIUM 2," on Friday, April 11, 2025. This album serves as a sequel to his previous project, "TYTANIUM," which was released on July 26, 2024. ​

Brasel has expressed deep enthusiasm for "TYTANIUM 2," describing it as his favorite album to date. Growing up at the intersection of East Memphis and Olive Branch, Mississippi-an area locals refer to as "Memphissippi"--- he was exposed to a rich musical heritage that influenced his artistic development. ​

During his teenage years, Brasel faced challenges with substance abuse and legal issues. After an encounter with God following his senior year of high school, he decided to change his ways and began a new spiritual journey. He enrolled at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and co-founded a hip-hop group. However, struggles with substance abuse resurfaced, leading to multiple arrests during his freshman year. Recognizing the need for a significant change, Brasel left college during his third semester to focus on his music career and personal growth. ​

Brasel's musical style is influenced by artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Curren$y, and Post Malone, and reflects his Southern roots. His discography includes projects like "Young T" (2017), "Destined For Greatness" (2018), "The Divine Storm" (2020), and "TRANSCENDENT" (2022). His lyrics often explore themes of overcoming adversity, personal redemption, and spiritual awakening, aiming to inspire listeners facing similar challenges. 

In his own words, Brasel describes himself as "a poet" and "a dreamer," emphasizing his deep connection to the arts and his desire to convey meaningful messages through his music.
