Old Time Preachers Qt to Retire

Les Butler, owner of the Old Time Preachers Qt announces the retirement of the group. Butler states, "God had a plan and a time. We have tried our best to execute on that plan. The plan was to have 4 old-time preachers who had some measure of vocal and instrumental talent to sing in the old-time way and testify and preach with unction under the power of God. It's our prayer that we have done that. He had a plan and a time. We started in 2016 and our final singing will be in 2026. That will be a 10-year run."
Butler continues, "Our tenor and bass singer, Tim Owens and Lee McNeill respectively are now pastoring. That makes Sunday travel out of the question. Adam Borden is in full-time evangelism and has a packed schedule. As for me, BMG/FMG and our REAL Southern Gospel ministry have taken off like a rocket ship. I'm just trying to hold on for the ride. And, the ministry impact that REAL Southern Gospel is having around the world has a much broader reach than anything we could do in our quartet travels.
"Through REAL Southern Gospel Radio, we are seeing souls saved, estranged preachers coming back to the Lord, families being helped and much, much more. As for me personally, I am simply minding the Lord. Certainly, I'll continue to preach and sing on my own as the Lord opens doors. The quartet will be able to honor most of the dates we have on the books at this moment. Please check out the itinerary below and come out and be with us."
Butler concludes, "I want to personally thank every member who was ever a part of the group. They include Mike Holcomb, Jeremy Ballinger, Lee McNeill, Tim Owens, Adam Borden, Bob Sellers and Isaac Moore. It's been an absolute honor for me to stand by these men who are all far more talented than me. We've seen many souls saved, and saints encouraged as well as challenged. To our families please know your sacrifices didn't go unnoticed by us and more importantly, they didn't go unnoticed by the Lord. You are loved and appreciated. To every pastor and promoter thank you for allowing us to stand before your congregations and audiences to deliver the message of Jesus through old-time, REAL Southern Gospel Quartet singing. It's been an honor. It has been and will continue to be an honor to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, Lord of lords and our soon coming King!"
