for KING + COUNTRY Releases Cover Of "To Hell With The Devil (Rise)" Featuring Lecrae & Stryper
Multi-Platinum and four-time GRAMMY® Award-winning duo for KING + COUNTRY (brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone) drop their single and music video for their new re-imagined cover single of "To Hell with The Devil (RISE)" feat. Lecrae and Stryper today.
Listen to "To Hell with The Devil (RISE)" HERE.
"To Hell with The Devil (RISE)" feat. Lecrae & Stryper is the latest track from the duo's forthcoming "The Inspired By Soundtrack" album for their family biopic film, "UNSUNG HERO," that drops on April 26, same day as the film will be available in theaters nationwide via LIONSGATE/ for KING + COUNTRY ENTERTAINMENT. The film stars Joel Smallbone; he also co-wrote the film, and it is his directorial debut.
Says the Smallbones: "What a cover this is, and a bit of an outrageous one at that! One of our earliest memories is sitting in front of a record player holding a vinyl 45 of Stryper's "The Yellow & Black Attack" cover. This song was a fun one to reinvent and think through as a duo - and Lecrae, performing what we believe is one of his greatest raps yet; coupled with Michael Sweet reinventing his iconic guitar solo at the end. We even added a new section to the song, talking about rising out of 'darkness into light'... We hope this one brings a bit of new energy to your listening endeavors."
"The Inspired By Soundtrack" will also include recently released singles "Place In This World" feat. Michael W. Smith, "Checking In" with Lee Brice and "Crazy," featuring the Smallbones and GRAMMY® Award-winner (and sister) Rebecca St. James. Additionally, for KING + COUNTRY's version of "Lead Me On" feat. Amy Grant; a soundtrack version of the title track of the film, "Unsung Hero," from their current Grammy® nominated and AMA, Billboard and Dove award-winning album, "What Are We Waiting For?," and much more, will be on the new collection of inspired songs.
