Meek Mill Disagreement with Fellow Label Mate Wale Amidst Legal Issues Due to a Probation Violation
Recently rapper Meek Mill got into an online tussle with rapper Wale from Philly and told him he was 'hater' and a 'cornball'. The two went back and forth on Twitter and Instagram before the head of Maybach Music Rick Ross himself weighed in on the situation to bring a resolve to the conflict. The label head responded in a report saying that the tussle was just a misunderstanding and things are okay. Meek Mill on the other hand, responded the statement he and Wale are similar saying that he has nothing in common with the rapper from Philly and walks in a completely different world.
The leader of MMG was hopeful as he outlined projects for the future, especially the long-awaited sophomore album by Meek Mill: Dreams Worth More Than Money. Apparently Rick Ross endorses it and says that it will definitely be a classic. As for Meek Mill's legal issues, it seems that he has found himself in a bit of a problem. Just yesterday he was in court and got sentenced to 3 to 6 months in jail because of a probation violation; however, MMG came on to say that he would probably be out in 3 weeks not months.
The reason he was in such a position in the first place: violation of out of state travel restrictions during probation. His probation officer, Treas Underwood and the Assistant District Attorney, Noel DeSantis made a case saying that Meek Mill had been travelling out of state frequently without seeking the proper protocols or even providing itinerary. Meek Mill reportedly said in his defense that his travel plans change all the time and that even he is not in control of the itinerary due to the nature of his career.
