Lonesome River Band's Sammy Shelor Named Banjo Performer of the Year at the SPBGMA Awards

Mountain Home Music Company congratulates Lonesome River Band's Sammy Shelor for being named Banjo Performer of the Year at the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America's Bluegrass Music Awards.
SPBGMA serves to educate about the traditional spirit and art form of Bluegrass music and preserve, promote and encourage new development in Bluegrass.
Known for his driving banjo style, Shelor has received a multitude of awards and recognitions including several SPBGMA Banjo Performer of the Year Awards and IBMA Banjo Player of the Year Awards and the 2011 Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass.
