Sundance Head’s Father Roy Head in Intensive Care

Season 11 winner of The Voice Sundance Head is asking for prayers for his dad. His father Roy Head is in intensive care following surgery to repair a ruptured aorta.
Sundance Head says his dad is unable to speak or move right now. He's being sedated following a successful surgery. "The doc told our family its a miracle he made it [sic]," Sundance wrote in a Dec. 31 Facebook post. The events that led to Roy's hospitalization and emergency surgery started last Thursday (Dec. 29) while he was hunting.
"Thank you all for he prayers they are working [sic]," Head writes. "Once he made it through surgery surgeon came out and spoke to us and around his neck was a chain with a big cross so I knew he was in the hands he needed to be in. Will post more soon once we find out more thank you all god bless."
Recently, Sundnce Head's cover of "Me and Jesus" debuted at #1 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart.
"Me and Jesus" marks the first No. 1 arrival on Hot Christian Songs since "Mary Did You Know," by Jordan Smith, season-nine champion of The Voice, crowned the survey upon its debut on Jan. 2, 2016. Smith debuted at the Hot Christian Songs summit with two additional performances from The Voice during season nine: "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" (Dec. 5, 2015) and "Hallelujah" (Dec. 19).
