I Am They Welcomes Abbie Parker & Releases New Single "Make a Way"

I Am They has officially announced the addition of a new vocalist, Abbie Parker, after the exit of Stephanie Kulla. Parker joins the group and is featured in their newest single, "Make A Way."
They shared the exciting news on social media, posting: "If you have been to any of our shows since last July, you may have noticed a new voice in the band. We are proud, honored, and pleased to announce that Abbie Parker has officially joined I Am They. She has a heart of gold and a voice to match!"
I Am They promises more new music and more videos will be released over the coming months. "Thank you so much for supporting the ministry of I Am They. We feel humbled and blessed to see how God is using these songs to touch hearts and lives around the globe," they added.
The members of the band came together from several different churches in Carson City and first performed together at Solomon's Porch; a regular worship event bringing believers together from all over the city. The group was discovered at a Spirit West Coast festival "Battle of the Bands" where they won an opportunity to come to Nashville and have a song produced and recorded. Once in the studio, the band impressed some key industry veterans and labels, eventually signing with Essential/Provident in June 2013.
Their self-titled album is produced by Christian music's #1 songwriter Jason Ingram and Jonathan Smith. The 10-track project features their unique blend of folk-tinged pop, skillful musicianship and passionate vocals. Says Adam Palmer, "We were made to do this. Music ministry is our heartbeat and pulse. God has been growing dreams in us we didn't even realize we had. We are just trusting God and following where He leads."
