Natalie Grant's Daughter Gracie is Discharged from the Hospital

CCM artist Natalie Grant's daughter, Gracie, has been discharged from the hospital on Thursday after a 6 day stay in the Intensive Care Unit for a respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection and a partial collapsed lung. The situated appeared very serious and Grant invited fans to pay for Gracie and 13.5 million people promised to pray for Gracie.
Natalie Grant writes on her Facebook: "Together again. When Gracie returned home, her twin sister Bella said, "no more tears for me. Finally!" My feelings exactly, Bella."
"We are headed HOME!!!," Natalie shared on Thursday. "We are thanking God for the miraculous recovery Gracie has had. When we took her to the emergency room, doctors said she was at an 11 out of 12, with 12 being the absolute worst it can get on the respiratory scale. She shouldn't have been able to still walk. Yet here she is, 6 days in the ICU and now headed home. She is such a strong little girl and our God is such a faithful Father...She is still not 100%, and will be fighting pneumonia for awhile. But we are believing she will get stronger everyday."
In response to the millions who prayed for Gracie, Natalie writes: "Update on my Gracie girl: the outpouring of love and prayer from literally hundreds of thousands of you has blessed our hearts more than words can say. We are overwhelmed with gratitude. Gracie has made some improvement today, hallelujah!! Her breathing has really improved and her heart rate has finally come way down! Still in the ICU, but her lungs are slowly improving.
Continued prayer request:
SpO2 will improve
No more areas of lung collapse in her right lung
RSV to subside so her body will be stronger to fight the pneumonia
Thank you. I love the family of God."
Responding to Grant's message is worship leader Don Moen who assures Grant of his prayers: "Great! Will continue praying for full and complete recovery!"
Earlier, Grant writes: "My daughter Gracie has pneumonia, a partial collapsed lung and is in respiratory distress. We would so appreciate your prayers."
Later, she updates us of her daughter's condition: "I am overwhelmed by all of your prayers and love for my Gracie-girl. She's still in the ICU with pneumonia, RSV and partial collapsed lung, and all of this sent her asthma in to overdrive. She's exhausted, I'm exhausted but we know that God is completely in control, and we have peace in the midst of chaos. A few hours ago, Gracie's breathing finally started showing signs of improvement!!! So thank you for your continued prayers."
