Wilburn and Wilburn Release New Album "Shoulders"
Wilburn and Wilburn have released their brand new album "Shoulders." Produced by Ben Isaacs, Jonathan Wilburn, and Jordan Wilburn this CD features great songs from the pens of some great writers which include Jimmy Yeary, Bill and Gloria Gaither, Kenna West, Gerald Crabb, and Dennis Morgan.
The first single from this album deals with a problem we have in America today which is that we have asked God to leave. Leave our schools, businesses, homes, country and most of all our hearts. In other words God can not be blamed for the trouble we are in because "You Asked Him To Leave". Another highlight is Wilburn and Wilburn's cover of George Strait's #1 smash "Love Without End, Amen."
Jonathan Wilburn, dad of the father /son duet commented, "I pray this album will minister to the brokenness that I'm seeing in the world today. Men, women, boys, and girls are searching for the answer. They are looking everywhere but in the right places. We want to do our part to point them in the right direction. We want to be salt and light in a dark world. Shoulders is a great album of songs that do just that! I am super excited."
Jordan Wilburn added, " 'Shoulders' is my first attempt at producing and engineering. It has been an awesome experience working with two men that I have admired for a long time, my dad Jonathan Wilburn and a dear friend of our family for many years Ben Isaacs. Everything just came together on this album. The songs, arrangements, musicians and even the photography/art design. God is in this album."
