Lonnie Hunter Walks the Red Carpet at the Stellar Gospel Awards

Lonnie Hunter, had a big weekend in Las Vegas. He served as the voice of the 2015 Stellar Gospel Music Radio Awards & Showcase on Saturday morning and on that evening he was spotted strolling down the red carpet to the 30th Anniversary Stellar Gospel Music Awards that airs this Sunday, April 5 @6:00 PM with 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM re-airs.
The host of the wildly popular syndicated radio program "The Lonnie Hunter Show" is also enjoying a great resurgence at radio with his new radio hit "Forever I Will" that is rapidly racing up gospel music playlists from coast to coast. Hunter recently explained his motivation for recording the song in an interview with CeCe McGhee on Praise 103.9 FM in Philadelphia. "A lot of times we listen to gospel music and we always call it the good news but the song is not good news," he said. "It's all about depression. It's all about being broken and all of that but without telling you [to] forget all that. My worship will put me in the right place to be able to see this problem for the size it really is. And any time worship lifts you up, anytime you are higher than something? You are able to look down and navigate your way through to come out of it."
"Forever I Will" anchors Hunter's forthcoming #GETITDONE (Tyscot Music & Entertainment) project that will release this spring. Fans can keep up with the larger-than-life personality at www.lonniehuntermusic.com.
