iPod Touch 6G News, Reveals, Rumors, Spoilers and Updates: Apple Music Player Release Date Delayed to Early 2015
When Apple did not include the iPod Touch 6G in the list of items that were announced on the keynote event on October the 16th, it was quite a disappointment because we thought this would be the time to release everything. After all, the iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2 were both released on the same date so it would stand to reason that we would expect the iPod Touch to be also released on the same date. There are rumors which have begun to circulate about the possible release of the iPod alongside the release of the Apple Watch, which is supposedly the company's first venture into the wearable device market. There are other rumors as well the iPod Touch 6G will be delayed until the first quarter of 2015 because there were allegedly setbacks in the development and testing stages in the products.
Allegedly, Apple is looking to test different screen and resolutions for the device which would mean two simultaneous releases of the iPod Touch 6G much like that of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. There are other reports, though which suggest the company is concerned about the possible pricing for the product. Of course, the iPod is not a mobile device and that means network carriers will not be able to offer the device with a phone contract to set an installment price in the market.
The fans are still hopeful to the new reported iPod Touch 6G features. According to the earlier reports, the improved iPod touch will be a complete entertainment device. Of course, the iPod Touch is a music player and that is why the public is curious as to how Apple is going to make this a more complete product. Apparently the rumors suggest it will have a better screen resolution, more storage space which may go as high as 128 GB. The device will also come with retina display and Touch ID features which are now standard with Apple's current generation products including iPhone, Mac, and iPad.
